Run The Risk - Documentary Short

Trailer:

It all began with a crash that almost killed him.

Canadian Ian MacNairn spent months learning to walk again after an SUV slammed into him.

He decided to use himself as a research project: “How far can someone go to transform their mind and body?” He had only ever run 10 km and would now face a grueling 125 km ultramarathon called, ‘The Death Race.’ He would do it all while managing the risks of Type 1 diabetes.

Our production team of two captured Ian’s journey from recovery to becoming one of Canada’s top ultra-athletes. The result was a gripping story of perseverance, dedication and profound self-discovery.
